The brief was to re-design the website, with the new design having more of an editorial look-and-feel.
I worked as part of a small cross-functional team to re-design the website. I led the creative direction, defined a new style guide and oversaw the design and development of the new design system for Aviva’s corporate websites.
Users included potential investors so our data had to be accessible and look slick. I used a limited colour palette, giving the corporate site it’s own identity and setting it apart from the more consumer-facing public sites like aviva.co.uk.
I established a clean and minimal style, incorporating better use of white space, typography and colour.
The design system was built using Sketch & Zeplin.
I created detailed documentation for the authors in the form of an author’s guide. I oversaw the development and worked closely with the lead front end developer to ensure high quality output was achieved.
